Sensual Noise, formed in 2004, is an Experimental and Atmospheric band from Belgium. We go for a creative approach to contemporary Atmospheric music.
We made our first DIY demo "Psychedelic Bugtown" (sold out) back in 2008. Our first EP "Chasing Swans" was released in October 2010.

With "Chasing Swans" Sensual Noise presents itself more varied, more intense and stronger than ever. Musically "Chasing Swans" is a dynamic puzzle of styles and influences, but thematically it is one whole. In that whole you'll find subjects such as the liberating aspect of movement, political activism, the need to put things in other perspectives and reflection on itself.
All of these come together in each of the songs, and each track is in this way a different view on the same whole of subjects. In many aspects "Chasing Swans" is a natural evolution in comparision to "Psychedelic Bugtown". But this doesn't have to mean that there's little or no difference at all between both releases, on the contrary.

Our First demo, Psychedelic Bugtown, saw its first morning glory in November 2008. The two tracks, 15 minutes of music, were recorded all together in one take. Both lyrics and artwork are part of a bigger concept: our experiences with today's world, it's decadence and desire to waste, it's hierarchical systems and self-sufficiency, reflected in the image of the city. Although they strongly differ atmospherically the two tracks flow over softly into each other and are in this way two perspectives on the same topic. All the artwok is designed by ourselves and all 84, partly handmade, pieces are sold out.
